Welcome to Archies Bar, a delightful culinary gem nestled in the heart of Prestatyn at 151 High Street. Known for its vibrant atmosphere, this bar and restaurant offer a refreshing escape for locals and visitors alike. Open for lunch and dinner, Archies has established a solid reputation for serving hearty meals and a diverse selection of drinks, making it a must-visit spot in the area.
One of the standout features of Archies Bar is its commitment to quality ingredients and generous portions. Customers rave about the freshness of the dishes, from the melt-in-your-mouth roast dinners to beautifully crafted burgers. As Jessie McLachlan highlighted, you can expect not just good food, but a warm, friendly service that enhances the dining experience. The staff, particularly Jane, is lauded for their attentiveness and efficiency, adding a personal touch that keeps patrons coming back.
In an era where dining out can sometimes fall short of expectations, Archies Bar shines through, providing an environment where you can relax and enjoy your meal. Esther Owens' experience reflects this perfectly; after a less-than-satisfactory meal at nearby accommodations, a visit to Archies left her "blown away." The value for the price is exceptional, demonstrating that quality doesn’t always come at a high cost.
Whether you have specific dietary needs like Helen Jones, who found their gluten-free options accommodating, or simply want to indulge in a classic dish like chicken and tarragon, Archies ensures every guest feels welcomed and satisfied. This attention to detail is clearly appreciated by all who dine here.
If you're looking for a lively venue with a relaxed vibe, where you can enjoy a great meal along with a fantastic beer selection, look no further than Archies Bar. As Kenny Taylor aptly put it, it's a busy spot for a reason, drawing in happy diners who cherish the community feel and delicious offerings. In a world filled with pretentious dining spots, Archies Bar remains a refreshing, down-to-earth choice for anyone seeking genuine hospitality and remarkable food.

Really Good. Good good , portions good, assorted veg. All hot!! Jane who waited on us & our old dog was so friendly and efficient. Will make Archie"s a regular haunt.

Omg.... We were staying at pontins in Prestatyn and obviously the food is naff so nipped there as they do food. We were blown away by it. Only wanted burger and chips and for the price, what we got on our plate was absolutely gorgeous. ...

Found this little gem last minute. Had roast dinner here and it was amazing. Food was so fresh and hot. Beef just melted in the mouth. Staff are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be back when we are in the area again. Really relaxed atmosphere as well.

Beautiful food. Great beer selection. Busy bar and restaurant because it really is that good. Note to the professional Moaners.... go somewhere else to whine. Archies is busy for a reason. If you want a quiet pint go elsewhere there's plenty of choice.

Visited Archie's Bar for lunch today and from the moment we stepped through the door we were met by Jane who was more than helpful. As I am coeliac I find it difficult to find places to eat but they were very accommodating and helpful. I had the chicken n tarragon which was absolutely beautiful, highly recommend this dish. The other half had curry of the day and this was also delicious. The prices are reasonable and the portions are ample! We thoroughly enjoyed our Archie experience. We would definitely recommend this Bar and will return if we find ourselves in the area again in the future. A special thank you to Jane for her welcome. Thank you.

Barman 10 out of 10, plus good selection of drinks very friendly and great atmosphere and dog friendly

Wish we could have stayed longer. Just popped in for a quick pint to find very nice member of staff & a well presented bar. 4 of us would prob have stayed for a few but shut early on a Tuesday.

I popped in on my own one evening whilst waiting for my daughter to finish work and I felt immediately at ease. The bar staff were friendly, the ambience relaxing and even the other customers were welcoming, especially when I couldn't negotiate my way out of the door - Thanks Duncan . Definitely recommend a visit and in the words of the 1970's advert that used to scare the bejeebers out of my baby brother 'I'll be back'!
